Cheyenne Jackson kisses his new husband
Cheyenne Jackson married Saturday, September 13 in a lavish Los Angeles wedding attended by many celebrities.
Among the loved ones looking on as out actor Jackson wed entrepreneur Jason Landau were out stars Jane Lynch and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Leah Remini and Alicia Silverstone.
Jackson is best known for his memorable roles on 30 Rock, Glee, as well as starring in Broadway musicals. The newlyweds met in rehab last year. The pair were married in an outdoor interfaith ceremony. Both men were ‘given away’ by their mothers during the intimate ceremony.
“This means a new beginning for us,” Jackson gushed to People Magazine. “It was love at first sight and this is just the culmination of that.”
People reports both grooms looked dashing in formal tuxedos. “Jackson, 39, wore a black Calvin Klein tux while Landau rocked John Varvatos.”
Following the emotional exchange of vows, guests danced the night away with the joyful newlyweds surrounded by a mix of elegant and rustic decor.
“I’m from Idaho,” Jackson explained to People, “So I wanted everything to feel very woodsy.”
To commemorate the special occasion, Jackson took to his Instagram to share the love with his 20,000+ followers.
The newlywed Mr. Jackson posted a photo of the couple gleefully displaying their wedding rings, with the caption: “M A R R IE D. Life is beautiful.”

While Jackson’s husband, Landau, posted another glowing shot from the wedding with the note, “A new life begins and I am the luckiest man in this world… Heart full and my feet are done. I love you @mrcheyennejackson thank you for making me your husband today. Goodnight!”

Jackson was previously married to physicist Monte Lapka, but the pair split a year ago. Jackson’s nuptials follow just one week after fellow star of stage and screen and out actor Neil Patrick Harris married his longtime partner, David Burtka, on September 6 in Italy.
